Reveal 8″ x 8″ Abstract Painting

Reveal is about about unexpected twists of fate.

Originally, I intended to create a monochrome black and white painting, but I love color too much to leave it at that.

I was painting outside in the bright sunshine, experimenting with how much color to add to the black and white paint, when angry clouds moved in overhead. The darkening sky blotted out the sun, and a sudden spring storm began pouring rain.

As a result, this painting look stormy and introspective. The paintings compel you to look closer to see the bursts of color that symbolize the unpredictability of life.
