October Epiphany 12″ x 12″ Round Abstract Painting

The circles shapes in October Epiphany symbolize the bright shimmering of sunlit autumn leaves. Here in Colorado, the light in fall tends to have a warm glow, and that inspired the sunny yellow, gold leaf, and red colors in the painting, set against a sky that grows just a little bit lighter blue as the weather cools.

I created this round abstract painting using archival-grade paint, gold leaf on a round, 1/2 inch deep gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted, so the piece is ready to hang unframed.
